Add Simple Slideshow of Featuted Posts with Description in Blogger Blog

Featured Posts are very important element of a site to give idea to the visitors about most important posts in the blog. Users can easily track the most important post among all the posts which they want. There are many clarified gadgets to show featured posts to attract the visitors. Slideshow of featured posts is one of them.

Generally slideshow of images is made by javascript which looks good but it may lengthen the time of loading your page which will discourage the visitors to stay on the page. So if you want to add slideshow of featured posts I suggest to add simple HTML slideshow of featured posts in blogger blog.

Add Meta Tags to your Blogger Blog

Meta tags are the important elements for successful SEO of your blogger blog site as well as any types of website. It helps to find out the keywords related to the article to Google bot. When a user search article by his own keywords, bot searches the most relevant matches with the keywords and show the results. So, if you want to optimize your site with successful SEO, keyword research is necessary and place the keywords  into the meta tags. You can put your site description as well as specific post description as search description which helps to recognize your site to the bot that what kind of topics describes in your post. 

Meta tags are basically HTML head element and are not shown on your page. This tag is placed in between the <head> and </head> tag. This elements are generally added to the main script manually.

You can put two types of META tags. You can put text Meta tags as keywords and description and on the other hand "alt" tags. The "alt" tags are used to recognize your photos to the bots that what type of photo it is? 

How to put Text Meta Tags:
Meta tags are generally included <meta> tags. You can put your keywords between the anchor of thr tags and place the tag between the <head> and </head>. You can put keywords and description meta tags like this:

<meta name="keywords" content="YOUR KEYWORDS HERE" />
<meta name="description" content="YOUR DESCRIPTION HERE" />

This elements specifies your overall site keywords and descriptions. But you can put post by post meta keywords and description.

How to add post by post meta elements:

When we add labels to the post we actually add meta keywords to the specific post. But in previous blogger interface there were no option to add meta description to specific post in blogger blog. But in new interface of blogger blog you can add specific post search description for optimization of your blogger blog.

When you write a post you will see an option to add Search description where you can add your specific post search description.

How add "alt" Tag to the Photos:
The "alt" tags are very important for Search engine optimization (SEO). If you put the "alt" elements to the photos the photos will readable to the search engine and can give feedback in the search results. Generally in HTML, "alt" tags are included with <img> tag like below:

<img src="IMAGE URL" alt="IMAGE NAME/DESCRIPTION">

But you add "alt" elements to the photos in blogger blog more easily as well as you can add title and caption with the photos in blogger blog.
To add "alt" tag to the photos, select the photo after uploading the photo. A menu will appear where you can find Add caption and properties menu.

You can add caption by selecting on Add caption. To add "alt" tag click on the Propertion. A pop-up box will appear.

Now put the Title text and the "alt" text in the respective boxes and click Ok and you are done.

There are another tricks for search engine optimization (SEO) is that make sure that the code given below is present just after the <head> tag.

This code will help the bot to search every post regarding its Post title.

You can also more meta tags like Robots, Author, Generator etc. Meta tags are read by the search engine. These are not appeared to the users. So, you should put here only those things which you want the search engine to read.

Samsung Vs HTC One || Battle between technology giants

At this time, two giant mobile phone producing company HTC and Samsung introducing two high voltage smartphones in market. Samsung Galaxy S4 has already brought attention of the updated technology users but there is no place without competition. HTC announced their break-throw 'HTC One'.

Both the smartphones includes high quality and latest technology. Analysts predicts that there would be battle between these smartphones. Now I'm going to discuss the comparison between these two.

I was discussed about Samsung Galaxy S4 in my previous post where I said that Samsung included high and latest technology of 5" full HD Super AMOLED, 1,920×1,080 screen, at 441 pixels per inch where HTC One has Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors and 1080 x 1920 pixels, 4.7 inches with full metal body. Both the phones contain Cornia Gorilla glass.

HTC has brought new exiting feature in photo shooting. When you capture a moment, it takes more than one image. The new HTC One includes the HTC UltraPixel Camera. When you will press the shutter and the HTC One automatically captures up to 20 photos and a 3-second video with 4 megapixel camera where a picture that’s alive. So your entire photo album becomes a living, breathing gallery.On the other hand Samsung Galaxy S4 includes 13 Megapixels back-facing camera which will bring you new experience of photo shooting and the specialty is it can include the photographer in the photo.

HTC introduces new BoomSound experience in their new HTC One which can make the sound system more clearly and loudly even in ferocious songs. That's why it includes Dual frontal stereo speakers powered by built-in amplifiers deliver bigger sound with less distortion.

How to add Custom Robot.txt to Blogger | Crawlers and Indexing

Robot is simply a software of Google Search Engine which is send by Google to collect information from all the websites which are newly discovered. I have already discussed about Crawling and Indexing in my previous post. Now I'm going to discuss about how to add custom robot text to blogger.

Before starting first we have to know about Custom text. Custom text is the direction to the Robot software that how it crawl the site which is given by the administrator. It allows Robot to crawl and index maximum number of pages from the website. So it essential for the Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

How to add Custom Robot.txt to Blogger blog:
There is no hardness to add this text which can be done even a beginner. So lets go the steps:

1. Go to the Dashboard and select Settings from the left bar.
2. Select Search preference from submenu.
3. At the right, go to the Crawlers and Indexing section. 
4. Click edit in Custom robot.txt and select yes.
5. Add this code given below in the box which will appear just below the Custom robot.txt.

Samsung Galaxy S4 | Full Featured Smartphone

Samsung recently debuted their latest addition Samsung Galaxy S4 after Galaxy S3. Undoubtedly we can say that it would be the best seller in this year. Improved version software and many new features are used in this phone but the look has not been changed yet from S3. Samsung introduces some new features in this phone that we’ve never yet seen in a smartphone, including any phone that begins with the letter i.

It is true that Samsung Galaxy S4 runs Google‘s latest Jelly Bean Android software, but Samsung has done a lot to make it different from other Android phones.

Hardware:

Samsung is a world's largest hardware producing company that innovates mainly through software. The 5" full HD Super AMOLED, 1,920×1,080 screen, at 441 pixels per inch, is both bigger and higher resolution than the iPhone 5, although the HTC one has an equally high resolution though smaller (4.7 inch) screen. Samsung has also applied more faster processor and lets users expand the phone storage which is 16GB to 64GB to plug in a Micro SD card for upto another 64GB storage. Samsung used long lasting mega battery (2600 mili amp hours) but they didn't say how the battery will last. They also used Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which will the phone display more harder.

Impressive software:

This phone is full of innovative software and exiting one is the Google's latest Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) which is more faster than ever. The phone specification reveals that Samsung Galaxy S4 includes all the latest software that available in smartphones like S-Voice natural language commands and dictation, Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa etc.

Cool Photo Feature:

Samsung Galaxy S4 has an exciting photo feature which has not been yet to others which beginning with its 13 Megapixels back-facing camera. But the most cool thing that the camera's ability to include the photographers in the picture. With the Samsung Galaxy S4 you can snap a picture of other people and place yourself albeit in a little window or bubble in the frame. 

The camera also intelligently sorts your pictures into albums based on the background or the date and you can order picture books directly from the phone. There is also an eraser feature that takes a series of quick photos and lets you remove images of people who walk into your shot by deleting just those frames. 

Voice Recognition: 

Voice Recognition feature has multi-lingual function. Samsung Translator enables you to speak in one language and it translate into another one. It supports many languages including Chinese, Spanish, Italian etc. 

Features that makes it different: 

You can ask your phone to read your email and respond a text message while you are driving. When you are watching video and look away, the video will automatically paused and when you turned back the video will play again. 

'Air Gestures' an another cool hands off feature which allows you to control the phone by weaving your hand above the screen. You can control many of the features of this phone without touching it.

The price of this phone not fixed as well as not available in Bangladesh yet. So keep waiting to get experienced.

How to Index your Website or Blog to Google

Whenever a website is created, everybody wants to get the website the higher rank in search engines and track huge amount of visitors. The Google bot searches all the sites to index in Google Search Engine. So you have fetch Google bot to your site to be indexed.

Now the question is how can you attract Google bot to your website sooner than later. In this post I want to share my knowledge that how website content is crawled and indexed, plus some great ways to get the Googlebot to your website or blog to index your content.

Basics of Google bot, Crawling and Indexing:

Generally beginners don't care about the Google bot, Crawling and Indexing. But these three matters are very important for successful Search Engine Optimization (SEO). So before I get started lets discuss about Google bot, Crawling and Indexing.

• Google bot: Its a simple software of Google that Google sends for collecting information from the web and add to the Google searchable index. 
• Crawling: Crawling is a process by collecting updated information from all the websites and get report back to Google. 
• Indexing: Indexing is the processing of the informations gathered by the Google bot by crawling process. When the informations are processed, they are added to the Google searchable Index if determined as quality content. In the process of indexing, Google bot analyze the words of documents such as Titles and ALT tags.

The details of crawling process and activities of Google bot in your site can be observed and manipulated by Webmaster tools and for help you can visit Webmaster Tools Help.

How to get a new website to be discovered:

There are many ways to discover your site in search engines. Here is some ways to discover your new website or blog in Google search engine discussed below:

• Create Sitemap: A sitemap is a XML document which list up all the pages in your website. It tells search engines when new pages have been added and how often to check back for changes on specific pages. You can found many tools to create sitemap or you can try XML Sitemaps Generator. 
• Submitting Sitemap: Submission of sitemap is very important task to optimize your site to search engines. To do this go to Webmaster tools with a google account and submit it. If don't have any account create an account and submit your site. I will show you that how to submit sitemaps in Webmaster tools in my next post. You can also submit sitemap in Bing search engine by Webmaster tools. 
• Submit Website to Search Engines: You can submit your site URL to Google by Crawl URL that will help your site to be indexed.
• Create Social profiles: Social profiles are very beneficial tools to find your websites to the visitors. You can create pages in social profiles belongs to your site and add the logos to your website. I'v already discussed about adding like button of facebook in website which may be helpful.
• Share your new website: Sharing of your new website link is very helpful tools get optimized. You can add share buttons to your website which will facilitates the visitors to share your links in their social profiles which can bring mass visitors to your site.

Some essential tools to get discovered your blog:

• Set up RSS feed with Feedburners: Feedburner is a Google's owned feed management system. Sign in to feedburner by Google account and submit your feed URL to burn it. This will also notify Google of your new blog and each time that your blog is updated with a new post.
• Submit your blog in Blog directories: Blog directories are the huge collection of blogs that people can find their desired blog. Your can submit your blog in this directories and it will help you build even more incoming links. Some popular blog directories are Technorati, Blogflux, Topofblogs, Blogarama, Blogtopsites etc. TopRank is also recommended for huge collection of blogs.

Adding Meta  Tags which I discussed in my previous post about Add Meta tags to your blogger blog can be helpful to track the Google bot and other crawler software.

Google is the largest search engine all over the world. You may want your newly discovered content become visible to the visitors and it can be done by submitting sitemap and RSS feed and get indexed to Google search engine to track more visitors. Its a part of Search engine optimization (SEO).
